Ross Stremme II joined Blackman & Sloop in September 2024 as an Assurance Senior Manager and has quickly made an impact across the firm. From his first interactions, Ross felt a genuine connection to the team, noting how welcoming and thoughtful everyone was throughout the interview process. That experience confirmed what he was looking for—a firm grounded in strong relationships, technical excellence, and a shared commitment to growth.
He was also drawn to the depth of expertise across service lines and the firm’s investment in innovation through its Ascend partnership. For Ross, it was clear this was an environment where he could continue developing professionally while contributing to something bigger.
Ross most closely connects with the firm’s core value of maximizing potential. He enjoys being part of a team that is always looking for ways to improve—whether through refining processes, enhancing the client experience, or supporting one another’s growth.
What Ross enjoys most about working in accounting is the opportunity to solve problems and deliver real value to clients. He also takes pride in the culture that has been built within his service line and across the firm, describing it as one of the most rewarding aspects of his experience so far.
Outside of work, Ross enjoys walking his dog, staying active, watching movies, and spending time with his wife. A fun fact—he played football in college. And the best advice he’s carried with him: get comfortable being uncomfortable.
