Rob joined the Blackman & Sloop team in 1998 as an associate accountant. Over the years, he has risen through the ranks to his current position as Principal in the assurance department. In this current role, Rob is responsible for developing and nurturing client relationships, managing staff, and serving as a mentor for team members. Rob performs assurance and advisory services for a variety of clients, including construction, non-profit, and privately-owned businesses.
A helpful professional, one of Rob’s main strengths is being a good role model for others. His peers describe him as a team player. He attributes his career success to hard work and a willingness to stop and help others when needed.
Raised in Jessup, Pennsylvania, Rob currently resides in Mebane, North Carolina with his wife, Jennifer, and their son, Ryan. His family gave him the title of “bird nerd’ for his love of the outdoors and enjoying his backyard bird feeders. When he is not helping friends and co-workers with home projects, Rob enjoys outdoor activities, including golf, tennis, fishing, hunting, archery, and kayaking.
