  • I learned about Blackman & Sloop from a Meet The Firms event at UNC Greensboro. I completed an internship in August 2022 and have been a full-time team member since September 2022. In my role, I really like that I get to work with a variety of clients that are unique and each requires different services.  

    What stands out to me about the culture at Blackman & Sloop is the helpful, welcoming atmosphere. I can walk into one of my coworker’s offices and chat about their weekend or whatever they have going on at the time. It is nice to have a work team that not only cares about the work but you as a person outside of the office. I also know that if I have a question, everyone is willing to help me find the answer.   • My favorite part about working on a team at Blackman & Sloop is that we are there for each client for every aspect of their tax needs. For our small business owners, we start with their corporate return, follow that into their personal return, and ultimately assist with their tax planning.
