Blackman & Sloop Advisors, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Chris Kavcsak as Chief Growth Officer. Chris joined the firm in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record in leading strategic growth initiatives. In his current role, Chris is responsible for spearheading the firm’s strategic growth initiatives, setting the PeopleFirst operating rhythm, driving the Ascend partnership, and overseeing M&A integration. His leadership and vision are integral to the firm’s expansion and success in a competitive market.
Before joining the firm, Chris was a Director in the Unreal Engine business at Epic Games. While at Epic, he led the $100mm MegaGrants innovation fund and played a pivotal role in strategic planning and execution. Prior to his tenure at Epic Games, he gained valuable experience at McKinsey & Company, where he led client engagements and advised client leaders on a variety of topics, including go-to-market strategy, corporate strategy, sales & marketing, and post-merger integration.
Chris’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Duke University (2009) and an MBA from The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley (2017). His education has provided a solid foundation for his professional achievements and strategic mindset.

Growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina, Chris developed a love for adventure and the outdoors. In his personal time, he enjoys cycling, scuba diving, and cooking. He cherishes family time with his spouse, Sarah, and their daughter. Chris’s diverse interests and strong family values contribute to his well-rounded approach to both his professional and personal life.
